After
a career in rock music, Dutch icon Herman Brood began painting,
becoming a notorious figure in artistic circles in Amsterdam. His work
is largely influenced by Pop art and graffiti, as his loosely-rendered
canvases are characterized by layered hues and blocky figures formed
with thick, black contours. 'Frozen Lovers' features two abstract
figures largely surrounded by red, yellow, orange and blue.
